As President of Pine Tree Networks, Rob is responsible for the overall operations of the company and each of its business units. Rob has an extraordinary breadth of knowledge in the field of telephony with over 28 years of industry experience. His career began in 1973 with New England Telephone Company, and he has worked with independent telephone companies since 1980. Most Recently, Rob served as Operations Manager of Saco River Telegraph and Telephone Company. Regional trade associations have chosen him to lead many initiatives, including a recent appointment to represent New England on USTA's Network Evolution Subcommittee. Rob is also a Past President of the Telephone Association of Maine.

As Vice President and CFO, Ed is responsible for Pine Tree Networks finance and strategic planning efforts, information systems, and regulatory affairs; and previously served as General Manager of The Pine Tree Telephone & Telegraph Company. Prior to joining Pine Tree Networks, Ed held a variety of business finance and management positions, including CFO of a regional airline charter company, CFO of a real estate development and management firm, and Owner and President of a mortgage purchase and finance company. Ed attended the University of Maine where he received a Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting. He resides in New Gloucester with his wife Claire. In his spare time he enjoys traveling and racing sports cars

As Senior Operations Director, Dan leads our Network Operations, Customer Operations and Engineering departments in their day-to-day functions as well as long term planning. Dan brings over 32 years of telecommunications experience to Pine Tree Networks. Most recently he was employed as the Senior Network Operations Manager for RCN Telecom. Dan has an Associate of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania State University.

A 26-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Bob is responsible for overseeing the design of a network that is customer-focused, feature-rich, and reliable. Bob began his career in 1979 in line assignment and dispatch at Standish Telephone, and most recently served as Network Operations Manager at Northland Telephone. Active in regional trade associations, Bob serves as Vice-Chairman of the Telephone Association of New England's Regional Services Advisory Committee. Bob has an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology from Southern Maine Technical College.

In his role as Director of Network Operations, Brian is responsible for installation and repair service, network maintenance, and technical support for all Pine Tree Networks customers. Brian came to Pine Tree Networks with ten years of telecommunications experience, including recent positions as Operations Manager in Maine and New Hampshire for Conversent Communications as well as Switch Manager for WorldCom in Portland. A 4 year US Army veteran, Brian received extensive technical training at Fort Gordon Signal School.

As Director of Human Resources, Barbara is responsible for personnel and human resources management. Barbara has over eleven years of experience in human resource management. Prior to joining Pine Tree Networks, Barbara held positions in Finance and Human Resources for National Semiconductor and GH Bass. Barbara is active in several trade associations and is currently serving as Vice Chair of the Telephone Association of New England’s HR/Safety Committee. She is also an active member of the Gray / New Gloucester Optimist Club and the Fine Arts Boosters. Barbara has a B.S. in Accounting from Husson College and an A.S. in Business Administration from Andover College. She lives in Gray with her husband Dennis. They have been married 23 years and have two children Sarah and Eric. In her spare time, she enjoys golf, traveling and shopping.

Carol is responsible for customer care and collections in all markets as well as the smooth deployment of customer solutions in Pine Tree Networks' CLEC Operation. Carol began her career at Pine Tree Networks over 13 years ago as a Customer Service Representative and quickly moved into the position as Senior Customer Service Representative. Carol has extensive training in CLEC operations and is the key behind Pine Tree Networks' success in getting customers switched from other LEC's to Pine Tree Networks. She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Maine at Orono.

As NOC Supervisor, Jim is responsible for the day to day operations of the Technical Support and Dispatch Departments. Technical Support monitors the entire Broadband Network and provides support to our Broadband customers in Maine, Massachusetts and West Virginia. Dispatch assists customers with repair issues and scheduling the Technicians. Jim began his career with Pine Tree Networks in 1999, where he held various positions as a Repair Clerk, Outside Plant Combo Technician and most recently a Network Data Technician. Jim holds a Computer Science degree from Andover College. He lives in the Gray / New Gloucester area with his two children, Tavian and Cameron. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working on projects around the house, water skiing, hunting and snowmobiling

Michael oversees the capacity planning and engineering for our telephone central offices, including the switches, the remote sites, and transport facilities between offices. He has over 13 years of experience in the communications field, eight of those in telephony. Prior to joining Pine Tree Networks, Michael was the Senior Telephone Switch Manager for a competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) that operates in four states. He graduated from the Center of Degree Studies in Scranton, PA with an AST in Electronics Technology.
