War Telecommunications was established in 1934 by H.H. O'Neal from Oak Hill, West Virginia. The company has continued to grow over the years and offers local telephone, long distance and Broadband services.

Since joining the Country Road Communications family of companies in early 2000, War Telecommunications has expanded its service offerings to include long distance, advanced features, and high speed internet access.

Today, War Telecommunications is part of Pine Tree Networks a Country Road subsidiary that employs over 100 people in three states.
